Terms of Service
By booking an appointment at Boombastic Braids LTD trading as TRIBAL Braids and Beauty Salon, you automatically agree to the following terms of service. Please review terms and conditions below.
APPOINTMENT
To accommodate service demand, your appointment time may be adjusted slightly. If necessary, your stylist will contact you directly to rebook.
PLUS ONE POLICY
We want everyone to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable salon experience so kindly ask that clients do not bring extra guests.
Exceptions:
- Clients under the age of 18 may be accompanied by one guardian.
- Clients with care needs may be accompanied by their carer(s).
CHILDREN’S SERVICES POLICY
Little one’s are welcome at TRIBAL Braids and Beauty Salon.
- The child must be able to sit still for the duration of the appointment.
- A guardian must be present throughout the appointment.
YOUR HAIR
If you have any hair or scalp conditions, please book a consultation or call the salon before scheduling your appointment. All hair concerns will be discussed, and preparation instructions must be followed for your appointment, or services may not be provided.
HAIR PREPARATION GUIDELINES
- Shampoo experience is highly recommended. A clean and nourished scalp ensures a longer-lasting braid style. Add-on treatments are also available to promote healthy hair and scalp.
- If you prefer to wash your own hair, ensure your hair is freshly washed and detangled before arrival. Detangling fees start at £30.
- A light leave-in conditioner is acceptable, but no excessive oils, gels, or edge control.
- Your natural hair must be at least 3 inches long for braiding.
- It is recommended to choose a braid length at least 4 inches longer than your natural hair. For example, if your blow-dried hair reaches mid-back, opt for lower-back-length braids.
- Additional fees £10+ may apply for extra thick, high-volume, or longer-length hair.
DEPOSIT
A £30 non-refundable deposit is required for all bookings at the salon. The amount will vary depending on the style you book.

- Card Machine
- Cash
Please note that all services booked with Boombastic Braids Ltd trading as TRIBAL Braids and Beauty Salon, require a debit / credit card on file.
In the event of missed appointments or an unreasonable cancellation, Boombastic Braids LTD reserves the right to charge the payment card on file with the full cost of the service you book. See cancellation policy below.
HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY
- If you are feeling unwell, have flu-like symptoms, or have been in contact with a contagious illness, please reschedule your appointment.
- If you arrive showing visible signs of illness, we reserve the right to refuse service, and your deposit will be forfeited.
- Please inform your stylist if you have allergies to any hair or skin products before your appointment starts.
LATENESS POLICY
- We do not charge a late fee, however, if you are more than 20 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment to another date.
- Please let us know if you are running late for your appointment and we will do our best to accommodate.
RESCHEDULE POLICY
Rescheduling must be done up to 24 hours before your appointment to transfer your deposit to a new date. You will be able to reschedule your appointment once free of charge. The new appointment must be within 5 weeks from your original appointment date.
If you are unable to attend the new date, the appointment is cancelled, and your deposit is forfeited. A new deposit will be required to book another appointment.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If for any reason you no longer wish to go ahead with your booked appointment, we ask
that you cancel via the ‘cancel appointment’ button at the bottom of your booking confirmation email or contact the salon as soon as possible. If you attempt to reschedule or cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice, you understand and accept that your deposit is forfeited and cannot be used for another date.
PHOTO & VIDEO CONSENT
- We may take photos or videos of your hair for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform your stylist at any point before or during your appointment.
- No photo or video of minors will be taken or used without express consent of their guardian.
If you have any concerns regarding content posted on our social media platforms, we encourage you to contact the salon directly through our social media page (e.g. Instagram, TikTok) or via email.
COMPLAINTS & SERVICE GUARANTEE
At TRIBAL Braids and Beauty Salon, we want you to be 100% satisfied with our service. If you have any issues with the service you receive, please:
- Contact the salon immediately by phone to discuss a resolution.
- If your complaint meets the necessary criteria, a correction may be offered free of charge at the salon.
- Any corrections must be scheduled within 2 weeks of the original appointment.
- If you or a third party alter or attempt to change the style, the guarantee becomes void.
- If you decide you no longer like the style, standard pricing and deposits apply for a new style.
